 YEAR 8 PROGRESS EVENING: Thursday, 23 March 2017, 3:45 to 7pm.

 Dear Parent/Carer and Student,

It is my pleasure to invite you to the Year 8 Progress Evening on Thursday, 23 March 2017 from 3:45 to 7pm. The purpose of the evening will be to inform you of your son’s/daughter’s progress and you will be able to make appointments with subject teachers.

The school is now using an online appointment booking system in order for you to make appointments. This allows you to choose your own appointment times with teachers and you will receive an email confirming your appointments.   Appointments can be made from now and will close on the morning of Thursday, 23 March. Should you wish to make any changes after this time please contact the school office.

Please visit to book your appointments. (A short guide on how to add appointments is included with this letter.) Login with the following information:

Student’s first name:

Student’s surname:

Student’s date of birth:

The purpose of progress evenings is to give constructive comments on how your child can improve in given subject areas. Each appointment is timed at 5 mins, which enables the teacher to see the maximum number of students; please can I ask that you keep to a maximum of 5 mins per appointment. If, however, you feel that you need more time with a member of staff please approach them directly about a convenient time to see them outside of the evening. To aid the evening to run smoothly, where possible, please can you not book appointments that are adjacent to each other as this will allow time to move between appointments.

If you do not have access to the internet, please contact the school office who will be happy to add appointments on your behalf.

Yours sincerely

Andy Holt
